Build a post and rung footstool while learning many of the basic post and rung building techniques (splitting wood, drawknife techniques, mortise and tenon joinery, seat weaving).
Class will begin 9 am the morning of Saturday, May 2, and end 5pm Sunday, May 3. Class size is limited to 4 people. No prior experience is needed.
Building anything is physically demanding. Students will be involved with every aspect of their footstool build, with a little nudge here and there from me. Students will leave class with a new footstool as well as a wealth of information for future use.
A $100 deposit is required to register for this class. A refund of 50% will be provided if a cancellation is received 2 weeks prior to class. Remaining balances can be paid either at the start of class or before. Contact to discuss.
Additional greenwoodworking resources will be available.
